Thought he was sleeping!

Braxton has been struggling with his naps lately, he lays and cries forever before he finally falls to sleep. Today, however, I put him down and a minute later he was quiet. I thought, wow that was easy, he must have been so tired. Well, I had to go in his room 5 minutes later to get something and to my amazement he's just sitting up in his bed playing with his sock. So I put him back down and hurried out of the room. Crying! 1 minute later it's quiet again. So maybe he went to sleep. No wrong. Same thing, so I put him down again. Crying! Quiet after a few minutes. I wait a while and go to check on him again. I push the door open just a crack and peek in and find Braxton sitting in the very corner of his crib with his eyes drooping shut. What will I ever do with the little man. I'm sure all kids do this at some point, it was just so funny to me because this was the first time I've ever caught Braxton, who knows how long he's been sitting up playing in his crib instead of sleeping in the past!

When Colt was less than a year old I'd get so excited to see him, I'd wake him up from his naps instead of letting him wake up on his own. WHAT WAS I THINKING? Now, I let him go as long as he can but I'll find him doing the same thing too--just sitting there talking to himself or holding a stuffed animal.

What a sneaking little thing! At least he can't get out of his crib yet! (like brandon used to do)

I'll bet that he hangs out in there awake quite a bit! What a little terd, here you think he's getting some sleepy time and he is just taking some quiet time! Oh well, I guess you can at least do some stuff while he's having his quiet time!

I hear that Braxton can climb the stairs now... lucky you! Thanks so much for taking care of my bachelor husband, he has been enjoying your cooking! See you when I get back!
